MR. IRRELEVANT

In 2022, a young man was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers as the very last pick in the NFL draft. He was awarded the title Mr Irrelevant.

In 2023, after all the other quarterbacks on the 49ers were injured, Brock Purdy took on the captain’s mantle and made sure everyone remembered his name by performing flawlessly. Irrelevant is impossible, and impossible is nothing.
