When Panda Express asked us to help them develop a film that would invite middle-America to enjoy Lunar New Year, we helped them craft a universal story that would have everyone charmed, whether you’re Chinese American, European American, or Meso-American.

The character that everyone appreciates and can relate to is the auntie. They’re kind. They’re brutal. They’re cheerful. They’re ruthless. They are the teddy-bears and the linebackers of the family.
