SUPERHEROES EXIST, AND HAVE HOMETOWNS TOO.
The 2016 Powerade Olympian Campaign was a massive undertaking.
In the span of 6 months we planned and captured libraries of video and photo assets in several shoots across the USA, in addition to a massive broadcast film shoot of “The Corner”, a two-minute film that heroed a young boxer from Newark named Shakur Stevenson. This thorough and exhaustive approach to content capture provided us with photography for point-of-sale and retail displays, as well as guerrilla tactics like influencer kits that went out to former Olympians like Michael Johnson.
All in all, the campaign was a magnum opus of advertising, and some of my favorite experiences on sets and in the writing room still to this day.
